mooni

most people don't learn how to manage money when it actually matters.

in vietnam, financial literacy is rarely taught in schools. at home, it's either not discussed, or explained in a one-way, lecture-style that doesn't really stick

the result is predictable: kids growing up using money, but not understanding it.

at the same time, access to technology is happening earlier than ever. kids have phones, meaning they can spend, pay, and interact with money digitally before they fully understand what they are doing.

the gap is what we're trying to solve.

my brother and i are building mooni.

mooni is a financial platform designed for kids, with parents in the loop. parents connect their bank accounts, set spending limits, and monitor transactions. kids get the ability to spend and manage money in a controlled environment.

in simple terms, kids "piggyback" on their parents' financial system while learning how to use it.

what makes this especially relevant in vietnam is how people actually pay.

unlike the us, where products like greenlight or gohenry rely on cards, most transactions in vietnam happen through qr payments.

so mooni is built around that behavior.

building in progress. already talking with parents and kids. coming soon!
